About No BS Clean Energy

No BS Clean Energy is a guide to home solar in Rhode Island. We explain the state grant, net metering, REG and what solar costs here, in plain words. Every number on the site shows its source and the day we checked it. Tap a number to see both.

We are not a solar installer. We are not a government agency. We don't run the state grant, and we can't approve anyone for it.

We partner with solar installers we have checked. When we send a homeowner to one, the installer pays us a referral fee. You never pay us. Read how we make money.

How we check what we publish shows how we source and date each number. The data page lists every number we use and where it came from. Our guides show when we last checked them and list their sources at the end.
