Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 29, 2026
This policy explains what No BS Clean Energy ("we", "us") collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what we do and don't do with it. It applies to this site and to the phone calls, texts, and emails that follow from a form you submit here.
The short version. We collect what you type into our form so we can call you about solar. If you qualify and want to move forward, we introduce you to a licensed Rhode Island solar installer. We do not sell your information, and we do not share your phone number or SMS opt-in with third parties for their own marketing. You can tell us to stop at any time and we will.
Who we are
No BS Clean Energy

We are a marketing and lead-generation company. We are not a solar installer, and we are not a government agency. The Rhode Island Renewable Energy Fund is administered by the Rhode Island Commerce Corporation, which is not affiliated with us.
What we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, property address, and your answers about your electric bill, roof sun exposure, and whether you live in Rhode Island.
- Consent records: the date, time, IP address, and page URL of your form submission, along with the exact consent language shown to you. We keep this to demonstrate that contact was authorized.
- Call recordings: phone calls with us may be recorded and stored for quality and training purposes. If you would prefer not to be recorded, say so at the start of the call and we will stop.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring source, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
How we use it
- To contact you by phone, email, or text about residential solar and the Rhode Island Renewable Energy Fund
- To determine whether you appear eligible for the grant program
- To introduce you to a licensed solar installer if you want to proceed
- To measure and improve our advertising
- To keep records required by law, including consent records
Who we share it with
We share your information in only these situations:
- The solar installer you ask to be introduced to. If you qualify and want a design or quote, we pass your contact details and the answers you gave us to a licensed Rhode Island installer so they can help you. They use it to serve your request and are responsible for their own privacy practices from that point.
- Service providers who operate our business — our CRM, phone system, email provider, and analytics tools. They may only process your information to provide those services to us.
- When the law requires it — for example, in response to a valid legal request, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
What we never do. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share, rent, or trade your phone number, SMS opt-in, or email address with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your consent to be contacted applies only to us and to the installation partner we introduce you to at your request.
Text messages and phone calls
When you check the consent box on our form, you agree that we and our solar installation partner may contact you at the number you provided — including by automated dialing system and prerecorded message — about residential solar. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Message and data rates may apply where texting is used. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any text to opt out of texts, or HELP for help. You can also ask us to stop calling at any time, by phone or by email, and we will honor it.
Cookies and advertising
We use cookies and tracking pixels, including the Meta (Facebook) pixel, to understand how people find and use this site and to measure our advertising. These tools may set cookies in your browser and report events such as page views and form submissions.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may affect how parts of this site work.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is wrong
- Delete your information
- Stop contacting you
Email hello@nobscleanenergy.com and we will respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law.
How long we keep it
We keep your contact information for as long as you are an active prospect or customer, and afterward only as long as needed for legitimate business or legal reasons. Consent records are retained for at least five years, which is the period during which a claim about contact consent could be brought.
Security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be posted here before they take effect.
