These terms govern your use of this website and the services offered through it. By using this site or submitting our form, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What we are, and what we aren't

No guarantee of eligibility, grant amount, or savings

Grant eligibility and amounts are determined solely by the Rhode Island Commerce Corporation under its own published rules, which can change without notice. Program funds are limited and are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis; a funding round may close before its stated deadline.

Figures shown on this site describe the program's published rates as of the date above. They are not an offer, a quote, or a prediction of what you will receive. Your actual grant depends on your system size, your roof, your utility, program rules in effect at the time, and whether funds remain available. Any savings estimate discussed with you is an estimate only and depends on your usage, your rates, and future rate changes we do not control.

The federal residential clean energy credit under Internal Revenue Code Section 25D expired December 31, 2025. We do not advise on tax matters. Consult a qualified tax professional about your own situation.

Your consent to be contacted

When you submit our form and check the consent box, you agree that we and our solar installation partner may contact you at the phone number and email address you provided, including by automated dialing system and prerecorded message, about residential solar.

Consent is not a condition of purchase. You may withdraw it at any time — reply STOP to a text, use the unsubscribe link in an email, or simply tell us on the phone. Phone calls may be recorded; tell us at the start of a call if you would prefer otherwise.

Information you give us

You agree that the information you submit is accurate and that you are the owner of the phone number you provide, or are authorized to give consent for it. Submitting someone else's number without their permission is a violation of these terms.

Third-party installers

Any installer we introduce you to is an independent business. We do not employ them, supervise their work, set their prices, or control their contracts. Any agreement you enter into is between you and them.

Read anything you sign. In particular, confirm in writing whether the arrangement is a purchase, a loan, a lease, or a power purchase agreement — the Rhode Island Renewable Energy Fund grant is available only for systems the homeowner owns, and leases and power purchase agreements are not eligible.

We may receive compensation from an installer if you become their customer. This does not change what you pay.

Acceptable use

Don't use this site to break the law, submit false information, interfere with the site's operation, scrape or harvest data from it, or attempt unauthorized access.

Intellectual property

The content on this site is owned by No BS Clean Energy and may not be copied or republished without permission, except as allowed by law.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

This site and its content are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or current.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, No BS Clean Energy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site or from any dealings with a third-party installer. Our total liability for any claim relating to this site will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless No BS Clean Energy from claims arising out of your misuse of this site, your breach of these terms, or your submission of another person's information without authorization.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Rhode Island, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these terms. Changes take effect when posted, and the date at the top will change. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the revised terms.
